East 79th in Kansas City Missouri House, Where We Renovated the Neighbor’s Garage.

House sold fast on East 79th in Kansas City Missouri

This was a cute little 3 bedroom one bath home with a large detached 2 car garage on East 79th in Kansas City Missouri that we renovated back in 2003.

What was really memorable about this house was first, the neighbor’s garage that had not been painted in ages.  It really made our house look really bad and since we had bought it and fixed it up to sell, that peeling paint was making us look bad.  So we made the neighbor a deal he just could not refuse.  We offered to paint his garage at no charge. He took us up on the offer.

The other problem we ran into is that Don Tucker, our founder had taught a few other real estate investors a few pointers on fixing up houses, including his preferred exterior paint colors at the time.  And the house on the other side of ours (not the guy with the garage) had just been updated by one of those students and painting two houses side by side in identical colors would not really work.  So we had to test out new colors.  Luckily, they worked well too.

This home took a lot of love, to the tune of about $40,000 in renovations in 2003 dollars.

If you have a home that needs a lot of love and renovations or if the neighbor’s garage is looking rather rough, tell us about it.  We pay cash, we close quickly and most importantly, we take care of all the repairs and renovations so you don’t have to!

If you have a home to sell that has some less than perfect houses on either side of it that might affect your sale, we would like to look at it. Take a minute to see how our process works and then fill out the form below to get the process started.

If you need to sell, no matter the situation, please, don’t hesitate to call.

I was in a probate/estate sale situation. My father passed away with no will. I had to go to court just to be named the administrator. I didn’t know what to do or who to call. I heard about KcmoHomebuyer and gave them a call. I met Scott at my father’s house. He was very, very sincere and helpful. I was pleased with his offer and as they say, the rest is history. If you need to sell, no matter the situation, please, don’t hesitate to call Scott at KcmoHomebuyer. You will not regret it. Thank you so much, Scott!!
