Where is Kansas City

The Question is usually where or sometimes what is Kansas City.  We have two completely different Kansas Citys in two states and they sit side by side so it gets confusing real fast.  And there are other cities in the metro.

So Where or What is Kansas City?

This is a common question we get,   where in Kansas City do you buy   for that matter what state is Kansas City in.  First if you don’t live here you need to know we have two completely different Kansas Cities side by side.  One in Kansas and one in Missouri.  We buy all over the Kansas City Metro area which includes both Kansas Citys as well as surrounding communities:

Kansas City Real Estate means

  • Overland Park, Kansas
  • Olathe Kansas
  • Leawood, Kansas
  • Stilwell, Kansas
  • Mission Hills, Kansas
  • Prairie Village Kansas
  • Shawnee, Kansas
  • Lenexa, Kansas
  • Shawnee, Kansas
  • Fairway, Kansas
  • Mission, Kansas
  • Merriam, Kansas
  • Roeland Park, Kansas
  • Blue Springs, Missouri
  • Lees Summit, Missouri
  • Grain Valley, Missouri
  • Independence, Missouri
  • Raytown, Missouri
  • Grandview, Missouri

You will also find that there are areas that don’t quite get qualified as a city and we buy in those areas too.  You might here Brookside, Waldo, Plaza which are all in Kansas City Missouri.  The Northland that could be one of many cities located in the north 1/2 of the metro area.  Or the Northeast or Old North End which encompases Kansas City Missouri in zip codes 64123, 64124, and 64125.  You might hear Eastern Jackson county which is just that, the eastern 1/2 of the county of Jackson in Missouri.  If you here something about “outsouth” that is the southern part of Johnson County Kansas, possibly Olathe and maybe Spring Hill.

So let’s take a run through some of the major parts of town:

So if you have a house to sell in Kansas City or any one of our cities in the metro area, take a few minutes to submit it to us. We may be able to buy it next week!

Glad we Called

We had inherited Mom and Dad’s house a few years ago and had decided to rent it out. But being a landlord was not the best choice for us as it was a never-ending battle to keep it rented, keep the rent coming in and to fix it up every time that didn’t work. We were fed up and ready to be done with the whole situation. We called Scott at kcmoHomeBuyer and he was able to talk us through the situation on the phone, meet us at the house and make us an offer. We didn’t have to fix a thing, he took all the junk the last tenant left, and we closed a couple of weeks later.

Glad we called.
