I am Kim Tucker, a home buyer with kcmoHomebuyer. I am also a Mom’s House, Certified Senior Transition Specialist. And I reach out to home sellers that are referred to me through the Mom’s House Referral Network. These are home sellers who might have submitted their information somewhere about a house situation in the Kansas City area and through the referral process, it ended up on my desk.
Because some people are not going to remember submitting that info. Or might wonder who I am and what I do, I have created the video below to explain.
Did Kim Tucker reach out to you? Email you? Text you? Call You?
And now you are wondering . . . Who is Kim Tucker?
What does kcmoHomeBuyer do?
What is a Mom’s House Certified Senior Transition Specialist?
How did they get my name and contact info?
And why are you calling me?
Why I am posting this video about Kim Tucker and my Senior Transition Specialist Certification
I am getting ready to send a few emails, and texts and make a few phone calls to a list of people who may or may not have a house to sell. Because we don’t cold call random phone numbers, we wanted to tell you a little bit about who we are, how we got your contact information, and why we are calling.
First, Kim Tucker along with her husband Don and son Scott make up the kcmoHomeBuyer team.
We buy houses across the Kansas City metro. We’ve been buying houses since 2000, a very, very long time.
Who is Mom’s House and what is their Senior Transition Specialist Certification
Because we buy a lot of houses from seniors who are transitioning from the family home that they have lived in for the past 20 to 40 years, and transitioning into some sort of senior living situation, be it with family, a senior community, assisted living, or other care community, we took the time to learn more about that. We took the time to earn our Senior Transition Specialist certification from Mom’s House (www.MomsHouse.com)
Mom’s House works with a lot of companies in the senior community – and through their referral network, they receive referrals from people who are seeking help with selling their homes across the country. Then they connect those people with home buyers like myself in various cities. My family and I are one of their buyers here in the Kansas City Metro area.
Who is kcmoHomeBuyer?
We have been buying houses across the Kansas City Metro area from Parkville to Gladstone, from Kansas City to Overland Park, from Olathe to Blue Springs, and most points in between. We have been buying houses and rental properties since 2000. We pay cash and can buy quickly so you don’t have to deal with all the hard stuff: fix-up, repairs, clean out, clean up, inspections, loan approvals, and more. Just go to closing, hand over the keys, and move on. We have a lot of satisfied customers.
And because every situation is different we offer other options:
- Fast Contract, but closing on the day of your choice.
- Fast Closing, but payments over time, so you don’t lose benefits.
- We are also licensed Realtors, so if listing the home in the traditional manner would be a better fit for you, we can do that too.

“Closed on my Schedule”
I loved working with Scott and the team at kcmoHomeBuyer. I was downsizing my house and moving to something smaller. Timing was everything and since I am not handy doing all the little things the realtor wanted me to do was not going to happen. They made an acceptable offer for my house, even took the stuff that I could not move to my new place and closed on my schedule so the timing worked out.
