Our founder Don Tucker was working for a Deck Builder at a time and spending all his time bidding jobs, collecting money and managing contractors . . for someone else. In 2000 he quit his job, did some research, read some books, talked to people and bought our first investment house. Since that time we have bought, renovated, rented, sold and seller-financed 100’s of houses across the Kansas City Metro Area.
In 2000 after a long-term love-hate relationship with retail, Don’s wife Kim Tucker quit her job and joined the team. Back then Kim was our Realtor who sold our houses and helped us find houses to renovate. Along the way, Kim noticed that we were able to have better outcomes for us when we could buy houses directly from the homeowners who needed our help. So now rather than chasing bank owned foreclosures, Kim’s job is to get our website, our letters, and our social media to reach out to Home Owners who have a problem that can be solved by selling a house. This allows us to help the homeowner and put them in a better situation while at the same time, getting us a great house for investment.
Then in 2011 Don’s son Scott Tucker graduated from KU in a time where there were very few jobs out there for college grads. So rather than find a job, he joined the team and went back to school to get a Real Estate License and joined the brokerage. At the same time, he spent hours and hours learning all about houses and helping sellers. Today, Scott is our guy on the front lines who talks to most of our sellers and helps them explore the best options for them. Scott will chat with you over the phone, and do a bit of research. Then he will come out to your house to take a look so he can help formulate the best offer we can make.
We are all Realtors licensed in the States of Kansas and Missouri. As the site states, we are Home Buyers first and foremost. We would much rather buy your house than list it . . . however, we have also licensed Realtors.
Because we are all licensed Realtors,

- Others will offer you a higher price if you can help them finance the house by carrying the financing or letting them take over your payments. We can do that too!
