We’re back again at the Donald Tucker Rehab House in Praire Village to take a closer look at the all the problem trees hanging over the house. We really need a tree trimmer.
Don’t let Don fool you, he can’t stand trees hanging over houses. Keep in mind that one of the first houses we rehabbed had at one time had a huge tree, but a big ice storm had broken up that tree, and when we bought that first house, half of that big tree was sitting in the middle of the living room floor looking up at the open sky where the roof used to be. So, not a big fan of trees hanging over a house.
At this house besides hanging over the house, there were other tree issues. Roots getting in drain lines and causing drainage issues. We have other trees hanging over the neighbor’s house that could fall and cause problems and overall they are just unsightly and in the way. Glad we found a great tree trimmer.
And while we didn’t look down much in this video, the back yard where the 20 + dogs sometimes got to go outside, they had totally destroyed the grass. Entire yard beyond the trees and trash was bald dirt.
By the way, the guys a Bee Tree did a great job trimming the trees for us, but the prices we quoted were 2010 prices, not current.
Checkback next week for the next installment on this Prairie Village home where we replaced the full roof and gutters, plus all the windows, the doors and the siding. If you have a home that needs this much work, and you just don’t want to spend the time or the money, another option is to sell the home.
On top of the process every step of the way!
Great experience. I was selling my fathers house. Very glad he sent a letter. The house was dirty, it was stinky, it was packed with junk. I just didn’t want to deal with it.
I called Scott as well as several of the ads I found on google for people who buy houses. Scott was great, he showed up when he said he would, he listened to what I had to say. He made me an offer and left it with me so I could “sleep on it”, which gave me time to review if with my brother.
Scott was on top of the process every step of the way, making sure I was informed and knew what was going on and when we had some paperwork issues at the title company, helped me work through that as well.
If you want a hassle free sale, give Scott and kcmoHomeBuyer a call.
